The national stand of Uzbekistan will be presented at the international tourism exhibition IMTM-2023 in Israel

From February 14 to 15, the International Mediterranean Tourism Fair IMTM-2023 (The International Mediterranean Tourism Market) will take place in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The Uzbek delegation at the international exhibition is represented by employees of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, SUE "National PR Center", JSC "Uzbekistan Airways", travel companies of Uzbekistan, including companies: Orient Mice, Dolores Travel Services, Sanat Travel experts, and Next tour.

IMTM is a professional exhibition for the tourism industry in Israel, as well as the most important and major tourist fair in the Eastern Mediterranean. The exhibition is widely supported by the Ministry of Tourism, the Association of Hotels, Tourism Agencies and Tour Operators of Israel.

This year, such countries as Belarus, Montenegro, Hungary, France, Greece, Azerbaijan, Portugal, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Turkey, Slovakia, Georgia, South Korea, Czech Republic, Spain are opening their stands at IMTM. In general, more than 25,800 visitors are expected to attend the exhibition. Also, as part of IMTM-2023, a Global Tourism Innovation Forum will be held in Tel Aviv.

The participation of the Uzbek delegation at IMTM-2023 is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Israel.

This year our delegation has prepared a rich cultural and business program.

On February 14, presentations from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan - SUE "National PR Center" on the topic: "Uzbekistan - The Crossroads of Civilizations.Tourism Potential of Uzbekistan" and a joint presentation on the topic: "Gastronomy of Uzbekistan" from the famous Uzbek chef Bahriddin Chustiy and the top Israeli chef, a descendant of Bukhara Jews, Israel Aharoni will take place on the territory of the Expo Centre Tel Aviv exhibition center.

At the end of the presentation, there will be a master class from eminent chefs and a tasting of Uzbek national dishes, as well as national, musical performances of singers and musicians from Uzbekistan.

On February 15, the Ennis Culture Center will host a presentation of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan by representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan has been participating in IMTM since 2017. Since then, Uzbekistan has been among the permanent participants of the prestigious international exhibition, which traditionally presents its rich tourism potential at this forum. During the international exhibition IMTM-2023, business meetings of representatives of the Uzbek delegation with Israeli tour operators, negotiations on the implementation of joint tours and acquaintance with the conditions of participation in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair TITF-2023, which will be held in November this year in Tashkent, are expected.
